The Initial data panel consists of tabs, each of which is reserved for a specific section for assigning and editing the initial data for simulation. Sequential filling process of data on each tab from top to bottom allows you to prepare one operation of the technological chain for simulation. For each operation type, only the tabs that need to be completed are displayed.
In the Project tab you can create and copy processes, operations chains and operations as well as switching between them. Also in the tab it is possible to change the process and operation name, change the operation type and problem type, indicate a comment to the operation. |
The Operation tab is available in the mode of creating a new operation. Here, the name of the active operation, the type of operation, the type of task, and additional parameters are specified. In this tab, you can also upload a process template from the process templates database or copy data from a previous operation. |
In the Geometry tab, there are all the geometric objects involved in the simulation. Here you can load geometry prepared in other applications, create simple parametric geometry, adjust symmetry planes and axes, and more. |
In the Workpiece parameters tab material, temperature and additional parameters of the workpieces are assigned. |
In the Tool parameters tab the drive, material, temperature, friction conditions and heat transfer to the workpiece and other tool parameters are assigned. |
In the Stop conditions tab the solver finishing conditions are set. |
In the Boundary conditions tab advanced conditions are set for surface or volume nodes of the workpieces and tools. |
In the Blows tab the amount of blows per operation, cooling time in air and on the tool, and other parameters are set. |
In the Simulation parameters tab simulation parameters , properties of finite element mesh and other simulation options are set. |
In the Tracking points, line the tracing of flow lines and tracking points is carried out. |
In the Subroutines tab loading and executing of standard and user subroutines for simulation is carried out.. |
In the Simulation state tab the information about iterations of the simulation is displayed, as well as the current value of the energy-power parameters and velocities of all tools during the simulation and other characteristics of the simulation are displayed |
When selecting special operation types in the Operation tab or in the Project tab, the following advanced tabs appear:
Appears when you select the operation type Cyclic tool heating. |
Appears when you select the operation type Ring rolling. |
Appears when you select the operation type Wheel rolling. |
Appears when you select the operation type Longitudinal rolling. |
Appears when you select the operation type Cross rolling. |
Appears when you select the operation type Reverse rolling. |
Appears when you select the operation type Extrusion. See the documentation QForm UK Extrusion. |
Appears when you select the operation type HT of extruded profiles. See the documentation QForm UK Extrusion. |
Appears when you select the Electric upsettingoperation type . |
Clicking on the active tab allows you to hide the entire initial data panel window.
