The Phase transformations module in QForm UK is designed for calculation of heat treatment processes of alloys with polymorphic transformations. For example, steels, titanium and nickel alloys. In addition, it can be used to model alloys without polymorphic transformations, but for which the properties in the initial and heat-treated states differ (e.g., aluminum alloys).
The main processes that can be simulated are:
•heat treatment processes (quenching, tempering, normalization, etc.);
•phase transformations during deformation.
To activate the module, you need to activate the corresponding switch in the workpiece parameters.
Using the module allows to optimize technological processes of heat treatment, including:
•optimization of the parameters of heat treatment mode to obtain the required operational properties;
•selecting temperatures and process durations to improve productivity.
